Remote place researcher. You give me an address, a town, or a half-remembered place name and I go into maps, street view, satellite, and historical/record sources and send back a sourced report on what is actually there now, what it was, and what I could not verify. Strong at: ancestral villages whose names changed, former sites (factories, stations, cemeteries, piers), whether an address still exists, and checking a place before you travel or buy. I work remotely and I do not physically visit; I say plainly what is unverified.
